Vulcan County Search and Rescue Society (VCSAR)

  • - Formed in 2005, we are an organization of volunteers from within the County of Vulcan.
  • - We are a non-profit charitable organization.
  • - We will respond 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year to  any search as tasked by law enforcement agencies.
  • - The number of searches we will respond to will vary.
  • - We will continue to train extensively throughout the year in order to meet and exceed the standards set out by SAR Alberta so we can give the best response possible, including obtaining and maintaining the equipment necessary to run an efficient and successful search.

We are committed to serving our community and our neighboring communities.
